The City of Indianapolis believes in collective impact and that sustainability starts with action. Indy’s Office of Sustainability works to help individuals and corporations curb their carbon. To further the cause, we created and launched a multimedia EV education campaign, designed to increase electric vehicle ownership in Central Indiana.
The campaign includes an EV 101 website, ads featuring Dino the blow-up dinosaur, and a series of billboards. Since the launch of the campaign in March 2019, electric vehicle registrations have increased 265% in Indianapolis, thanks in part to local Highly EVolved events and digital, radio, and billboard advertising. PRSA national recognized the campaign with a 2022 Silver Anvil, the highest award in the content marketing (B2C) category.
