Jordan helps uncover market insights, develop effective strategies, and guide creative processes for his clients. During his tenure at the agency, he has led brand foundation and campaign projects for Axis Architecture + Interiors, Christ Church Cathedral, and the Indianapolis Parks Foundation among others. He graduated from Indiana University with a degree in telecommunications and marketing. Before joining Pivot, he managed accounts at Borshoff, steering large corporations through rebrands, creative campaigns, and website development processes. Outside of the office, you can find him wearing candy striped pants, spending time with family and friends, or watching the latest Star Wars movie.
My job ranges from fine details to the big picture. We articulate the problem, conduct research, and create a strategy, then we do all the little tasks involved in carrying it out. With every puzzle piece, we’re looking back to that overarching strategy to make sure it lines up.
No two days are the same. Yeah, it’s cliché. But it’s true. Some days, everything goes according to plan. Other days, you’re putting out one fire after another. That’s why I like it. There’s always a different problem to solve.
In college, I wanted to be a filmmaker. Somehow, I ended up doing communications for a power company as an internship, and it was a great experience. After that, I spent several years managing pharmaceutical accounts. It wasn’t what I pictured at all, but I’ve learned you can find good stories to tell anywhere.
I love sports, and there are few things I like more than IU basketball. I was born and bred a Hoosier, and attending IU only added to the hysteria. I’m a realist in almost every facet of my life except this one. I’m always sure next season is the one that we’ll hang the sixth banner. I just can’t help myself.
