The 11th Annual Mayor’s Lunch for Parks, a fundraiser benefiting theIndianapolis Parks Foundation, raised $198,710 to support parks.
Tamika Catchings of the Indiana Fever and founder of Catch the Stars Foundation was the event’s featured guest speaker. Catchings shared with attendees the impact of parks on her personal and professional life.
Host Tom Zupancic and keynote speaker Mayor Greg Ballard encouraged a crowd of 500+ to support our city’s parks and community programming in a ballroom transformed into a park-like setting — complete with playground equipment and real wildlife.
Our team helped with strategic communications for the event — including digital graphics, copywriting, email marketing, print collateral, and event signage.
The lunch serves as the foundation’s primary corporate fund raising event. Funds raised at the 2013 luncheon will support the foundation’s work to help Indy Parks & Recreation build a world-class parks system by providing funding for land acquisition, park programs, capital improvements and maintenance.
