Hooverwood has been offering care and services to the elderly in our community for more than a century. Established at its present location in 1970, Hooverwood has grown to become a well-recognized and respected skilled-nursing facility specializing in rehabilitation, dementia care, and adult day services.
In the Spring of 2012, Hooverwood reached out to Pivot for help. They were ready to expand their reach and tell the story of their exceptional caregivers.
During the rebranding process, Pivot conducted a communication audit, advisory roundtables, and personal interviews with board members, staff, residents, and family members. What we uncovered enhanced our view of life at Hooverwood.
The new identity mimics the beautiful stained glass throughout the home, the colors speak to the warmth of their staff and residents, and the subtle implementation of the Star of David pays respect to Jewish traditions. The new tagline, Caring, for generations, speaks to their mission and the passionate people who work at Hooverwood.
New photography captures daily life at Hooverwood. Whether it’s preparing Kosher foods or learning how to putt from a professional golfer, it doesn’t take long before you experience personal care in this community.
Additional print work included business cards, letterhead, envelopes, a new admissions brochure, info cards, pocket folders, stickers, tote bags, t-shirts, and note cards.
Hooverwood is also establishing a strong web presence. They’ve recently launched a new website (desktop & mobile), Vimeo channel, Facebook page, and an email newsletter. Their new web strategy allows for increased visibility and improved communication with family members of existing residents.
